RUE «Belarus radio-television broadcasting center» informs, that from the first of October, 2009 on RTBS in Osveia, Verhnedvinsk district, Vitebsk region, the listed below broadcasting equipment has been launched:

• the television transmitter in purposes of on-air translation of program “First channel” on frequency 22 TVC by power of 5 kW. The transmitters’ zone of service makes 38 km;
• the television transmitter in purposes of on-air translation of program “LAD + regional TV” on frequency 25 TVC by power of 5 kW. The transmitters’ zone of service makes 38 km;
• the television transmitter in purposes of on-air translation of program “STV” on frequency 42 TVC by power of 5 kW. The transmitters’ zone of service makes 38 km;
• the television transmitter in purposes of on-air translation of program “ONT” on frequency 59 TVC by power of 5 kW. The transmitters’ zone of service makes 38 km;
• the broadcasting transmitter in purposes of on-air translation of program “First National channel of the Belarusian radio” on frequency 103,5 MHz by power of 4 kW. The transmitters’ zone of service makes 56 km;
• the broadcasting transmitter in purposes of on-air translation of program “Radio channel Culture” on frequency 106,0 MHz by power of 4 kW. The transmitters’ zone of service makes 56 km;
• the broadcasting transmitter in purposes of on-air translation of program “Radio Vitebsk” on frequency 102,0 MHz by power of 1 kW. The transmitters’ zone of service makes 39 km;
• the digital television transmitter of DVB-T standard in purposes of on=air translation of programs “First channel”, “ONT”, “LAD”, “STV”, “RTR-Belarus”, “NTV-Belarus”, “8^th channel”, and “Mir” in digital package( MPEG-4/AVC standard of compression) on frequency 61 TVC by power of 1 kW. The transmitters’ zone of service makes 37 km.

 

You should have a digital TV hook-up supporting MPEG-4/ AVC compression standard in order to receive TV programs translated in DVB-T standard.
